Holidays in a five-star villa in Puglia
In Italy, we have only two hotels under the prestigious Mandarin Oriental brand. One is located in the fashion district in Milan, with the two Michelin stars restaurant by Antonio Guida, and one in Blevio, on Lake Como, featuring historical suites and lounges overlooking the world's most glamorous basin. But that's not all. While awaiting the upcoming openings in Cortina, by 2026 for the Olympics, and in Sardinia, also in 2026, they have taken over the management of two beautiful country estates in Valle d'Itria: the seventeenth-century Masseria Petrarolo in Monopoli, and Masseria Pistola, with its characteristic trullo roofs, in Alberobello. The architecture is typical of Apulian agricultural estates, surrounded by ancient olive groves, vineyards, and lavender fields, with contemporary and design interiors. The first property has nine rooms, the second has ten, making them available for family or friends vacations in total privacy.
The two Apulian farms are part of the Exclusive Homes collection that Mandarin Oriental manages in collaboration with StayOne, a community of owners of beautiful homes in places of undeniable charm: villas on the French Riviera or on the beach in Costa Brava, in Marbella, Majorca and Ibiza, but also chalets in the Austrian Alps and cottages in the English countryside. Currently there are around twenty of these properties, but the idea is to reach one hundred within the next five years, spanning across the United Kingdom, Europe, and Asia.
In the properties of the collection, all private and independent, guests feel at home thanks to the residential, unique, and personalized atmosphere, while the services offered are those of the most refined luxury five-star accommodations. Upon arrival, a dedicated concierge welcomes guests and is available to organize their stay, provide a private chef, arrange excursions, guides, transfers, and access to the most important events. An example? Guests can request to arrive by helicopter or watch the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Monte-Carlo from a yacht. Everything is always possible.
